Sample Requirements
(I) In case of core samples, sample should be of NX size, (dia-54.4 mm) free from cracks, ridges etc and length of each piece of core should not be less than 20 mm or as per the test requirement.
(II) In order to avoid the damage of sample during transportation, the sample should be sent through a personal/courier to CDOS at their cost.
(III) Sample should be properly packed so that rock sample are not further broken during transportation.
(iv) All the requires sample specimen shall be prepared from a single block or rock mass. Faces of the sample shall be parallel, smooth and shape edged.
